Central Florida Director of Athletics Keith Tribble resigned. Tribble, who served in the role since 2006, is replaced temporarily by Al Harms. Additionally, assistant football coach David Kelly resigned, while head men’s basketball coach Donnie Jones was suspended three conference games and issued an official letter of reprimand.

Other transactions

Athletics directors – Wentworth Institute promoted Angel Ayres to director of athletics. Ayres has also been the Leopards’ head women’s soccer coach for 14 years, a position she will continue to hold.

Associate athletics directors – Albion’s Melissa Walton was reassigned from head women’s volleyball coach to senior associate athletics director and designated the department’s senior woman administrator. Walton coached the volleyball squad for six years.

Other transactions

Football assistants – Fresno State defensive coordinator Randy Stewart is stepping down from his role, with Tim Skipper assuming his position. Stewart will still remain on the staff throughout the remainder of his contract … Penn State placed assistant football coach Mike McQueary on administrative leave.

Men’s and women’s gymnastics assistants – Rhode Island College hired alum Nicole Tomaselli as its assistant women’s gymnastics coach.

Men’s and women’s soccer – Seattle fired head men’s soccer coach Brad Agos. Agos recently completed his sixth season at the helm.

Softball – Maine chose Lynn Coutts to lead its softball program as head coach. Coutts, a Maine alum, most recently coached at the high school level … Bemidji State tabbed Rick Supinski as its head softball coach. He comes from Bates, where he was an assistant for more than three years.

Softball assistants – Pfeiffer named Allie Marshall assistant softball coach. Marshall recently completed her playing career at Catawba.
